While I'm still suiting up we're gonna send Scott and he's gonna go mark the car for us, if you can find it.I'm gonna try to put him right on it. Once he has it marked I'll be suited up and I'll get in the water with him, then we'll go get it and lift it up and we're gonna start lifting the car.

what you want to do is we want to take the lift bags down, attach it to one side of the car so what if the car is upside down, on the side, right side up, it doesn't matter, we're gonna attach the lift bags to one side of the car lift it up so that way the silt can fall out of it. We're gonna bring the car up and then we're gonna do our best to right the car whether it's upside down.
Our whole goal is just to get four bags on it today that way it's easier to tow and we're gonna take it down to Willamette Park where we've already taken two other cars out of this area. We've got the Nissan as well as a Honda. Today it's a Jaguar. These are 1500 pound lift bags.
We've got a total of six thousand pounds of lift which means we can actually lift, how much underwater? Come on you're an underwater recovery guy. So something weighs 6,000pounds but if something weighs 10,000 pounds underwater how much does it really weigh? Well let's say it weighs 6,000 pounds okay, so we'll be lifting 6,000pounds. Let me educate you.
Say you're underwater and something's 10,000 pounds, we could lift... I got you... you can lift the 10,000-pound item which now is less because of the buoyancy has been displaced by the water that's pushing up is 6,666 pound. I was told there was no math gonna be involved today. however, here's the thing underwater things weigh two-thirds less underwater than they do above water.
so if it actually weighed eight thousand pounds we could still lift it was six thousand pounds of lift easy enough. He already found it! hey Jared. yeah, I didn't find a Jaguar, but I found two other cars. I don't want the other cars. We're going for the Jaguar found that the Ford, yeah. and the other car, do you know what the other car is? Scott did a good job finding two cars, not the right two cars that we're after today, so he's gotta head back underneath move over five or 10 feet.
We're after the Jaguartoday. Come on Scott, get us a Jaguar, yeah well we have some good news the two bags that are on the back tire we've been able to flip the car on its side what we have to do now is we have to switch out all of our tanks that we have fresh air, we're gonna take two more chains down, two more bags, attached to another front tire, lift this thing right up.
It's full of a lot of silt, but hey, my hopes we're doing it any question save them now I got nothing better get it done could you tell that it was a jag are you not sure it's not a jag. they thought it was a Jaguar, but it's not aJaguar, Guys, hey guys, so we have an issue with this we may not be able to get back to the ramp because there's so much silt inside of the car stripping the axle off the rear axle off of the frame.
If we put too much weight on that, she can rip that axle off well how big of a rope is that? so what I'm thinking is maybe we can go underneath the car mid car and then tie it at the back so I can come through the frame so that way we don't...Not only did Richard tell me that it was a Jaguar... he also told me it is a 1973Jaguar... you're lying Lying sack of squid Richard.

somebody drove it off the boat ramp back in the day back there was a lot of stalled cars this is the fourth car we pulled out of the river it's like a long time ago like they ran oh it's just there how'd you guys find it we're not were divers and we don't look for this stuff so we're gonna pull it out cleanup the environment yeah what do you got even a job we're doing those volunteers Jared what are you doing thank you come on the car to the other side so that way we're only walking the one ramp over here today's workout and take my car first win or a walk whatever you want to call it now it's flooded.
I know that be honest I think I'm doing most of the work for those of you who are in the Portland metro area you have to know Brandon over here daily telling because Brandon is back the best tow company in all in all of the Portland metro they are a hair donating their time donating their services to help us pull cars like this out of the river today what we have to do is we have to get the cards to hold up far enough that we can actually get the lift bags off because the car is still upside down once we get the lift bags up then Brandon can flip the car.
over sometimes we've loaded the cars upside down but because that trunk is closed we want to know what's in it we do have to get this car flipped right-side-up today now a shout out jack bundle 3 and Instagram shut it out we're topless got Instagram shut out t grant behind team what's up tell me about the situation yeah I'm worried that the axle is going to separate with your brake.
he's attaching the hook to the axle but the axle is probably going to come to snap right off the car and as soon as we started to bring it up for putting how many silks left in it if it's still full of silt the axle is just gonna give way yeah it's not going to be a great position see if they go smooth when it does it makes pretty good content there's one treasure got an axle Ojo de alright can anybody identify what it is yet rosette rub that symbol on the wheel and see what it gets the car back hey it's a patio heavier jackets a dead this doesn't like Richard.
